evaluative phrases

South Korea has attracted considerable attention in Jason's class. This is because there is a noticeable difference between the number of people who speak English as second language in SK and other Asian countries. In fact nearly 50% of the population speak English, which seems to suggest that the country values English as an educational need.

The number of people who speak English as a second language is 10% of the total population, whereas about 20% of Thai people speak English as a second language.  The figure seems to reflect the ignorance of English education in China.

The percentage of people who can speak English as a second language in South Korea is the largest compared with other Asian countries.  It seems to reflect the importance of English in this country.
